Includes a wide variety of graphic assets, music and sound effects, inspired by medieval times, which allow its use in themes for games such as RTS, RPG, sandbox, management, among others.
IMPORTANT: The characters included in the pack are modular, the body parts that compose it are animated separately in different sprite sheets, it is necessary to combine all these elements to create the complete animation, make sure that your game engine has the necessary tools for it.
Graphics
They are all in sprite sheets with png format.
- Modular characters with thousands of combinations including different types and colors of hair, skin tones, clothing, armor, weapons and tools.
- Hundreds of animations for characters that include movement, crafting, gathering and building skills, custom attacks depending on the type of weapon, polearms, cutting, blunt and ranged, in addition each type of weapon has several attacks.
- Domestic animals, pigs, cows, chickens, each one has its adult version and puppies, and wild animals, wolves, deer, rabbits, all of them fully animated.
- Huge number of buildings with different upgrade levels, houses, keep, shops, farms, mills, warehouses, mines, workplaces, towers, training ground, barracks. Some buildings are different sizes so they can be used on different layers to create perspective and depth. In addition to modular pieces to create wooden or stone walls and even castles.
- Large assortment of environmental elements to create the scenarios, different layers with mountains, forests, plains, hills, combinable with each other to create parallax effects, as well as an assortment of props that includes trees, rocks, plants, foliage, water, among others.
- Special effects and animated objects, which add more realism to the set, such as smoke, fire, blows or elements that swing in the wind.
- Game icons to use in interface menus, weapons, armor, tools and resources.
Sound and music
- 460 custom made SFX that include sounds of animals, tools, weapons, buildings, structures and people in their daily activities, working or in combat to fit simulation of medieval life as well as soundscapes for setting in certain situations or times of day.
- Every sound has been exported in mono (except soundscapes) and most of them have different variants to offer versatility and better immersion. All initial silences have been cut to avoid lag issues when playing. Some are loops (indicated in their filenames) due to their nature and characteristics, as well as to ensure greater functionality and ease of use (eg soundscapes, etc.)
- A total of 15 orchestral musical themes set in medieval times with a variety of traditional instruments from the medieval period, as well as other contemporary ones to achieve a much more cinematic sound in some cases; each one comes with its normal and looped version. Great for setting locations, battles, story-related events, cutscenes or other specific situations.

Hello, I love the asset style. Are you planning on releasing more updates? Do you do commissions?
Thank you, I am not currently available.
I plan to use the Godot engine. Can I add new animations? For example, animations like climbing a ladder.
+ I have a question about task animations. Are task animations and character animations separated?
For example, when a character is cooking, I'm curious if the animation of the character stirring a bowl is separate from the bowl's animation.
There is no problem in modifying or adding animations, as long as you keep them in your project and not to sell them on your own.
As detailed in the asset description, characters are divided into body parts, the hands and the tool or weapon are separated from the body, the feet and the head, each part is animated independently, keep this in mind because there are no fully assembled characters included in the package.
Does this character work with the assets from https://ismartal.itch.io/fantasy-medieval-characters?
They have the same resolution and are configured in the same way, however there are differences in style, those in the fantasy pack have a larger head and a smaller body, as for equipment and weapons it would be totally compatible.
Is this the same file as the one in the Unity Asset Store? Or is there a difference in content from the Asset Store?
I'm asking because it's currently included in the Halloween sale here, but not on the Unity Asset Store.
Can I use it directly in Unity?
Both include the same thing, the difference is that here are just the sprites the unity project is not included, while in the unity store they are inside a unity project with prefabs and animations already created and ready to use in the engine.
Thank you for fest response!
I understood that if I wanted to be able to use it right away without any work, I would have to purchase it from the Unity Asset Store.
Hi,
First off ty alot for this, it's an amazing piece of art.
I've already purchased it a couple of months ago, but I see you have the Unity animations and package available now, is it possible to have this please I'll be so thankful to you!
Thank you, please contact me by mail.
Thanks, sent you an email!
Does this work well with the Unity Engine?
Why was this asset taken down from the Unity Asset Store?
The package works well in unity, and the advantage is that the characters and animations are already assembled in the project. There was a problem but it is now resolved and it is being reuploaded to the unity store, however it has to go through the review period again which will take a few days.
Hi again!
Really excited to purchase this asset on the Unity Store page, any updates on when it's going to be released?
Thanks
It is still under review, this can sometimes take a while, unfortunately it is not something that depends on me, so I cannot specify exactly how long it will take
It's now online at the unity asset store, https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/2d/pixel-medieval-kingdom-231319
Woo hoo! Amazing, thanks for the update!
This is really good. Just to make sure, what license am I bound to if I buy this? Can I do anything I want with it, except resell of course?
That's right as you say can't resell, otherwise you can use the assets in any project including commercial without any limitation.
